If your Jaguar navigation does not know about new roundabouts, bypasses or viaducts, you need a navigation map update. Our service updates three types of Jaguar systems: Denso 2.64 (XF, XK), Denso XCL (XJ, S-Type, X-Type) and HDD GEN2.1 USB (newer XJ and XF). On this page you will find which maps suit which model, how to recognise outdated data and what to bring with you.

Which Jaguar models do you update? XF and XK (from 2007), X-Type (from 2002), S-Type (from 2003), XJ (2004–2009 and from 2009 with HDD) and XF from 2012.
What warranty is provided? We provide a 12-month warranty for map updates.
Will Lithuania be detailed? Yes. In all three versions the map of Lithuania is detailed, and other European countries are added as well.

How to tell that your Jaguar map is outdated

Most often it is not the navigation that fails, but the map that simply falls behind the roads. Here is what drivers notice first.

The navigation guides you along a road that does not exist

WhyThe map was made several years ago, and new road sections and roundabouts are not marked on it. In older systems the data does not update by itself.

What people get wrong about Jaguar navigation

Myth. If the map is out of date, the navigation is faulty. In fact. Most often it is not: the map has simply fallen behind the roads. If the system shows an error or does not detect the disc, diagnostics are needed, which cost €10.
Myth. The map updates by itself. In fact. In older Jaguar systems, the data can only be changed manually, using new discs or a USB drive.
Myth. Any map set will do, as long as the model is the same. In fact. It is not only the model that matters, but also the system type: Denso 2.64, XCL or HDD GEN2.1. An unsuitable set will not install.

Which maps suit which Jaguar

The Denso 2.64 system is used in XF and XK cars (from 2007). The set consists of five discs: the first three cover Western Europe, the fourth covers the Baltic states, Poland, the Balkans and the rest of Eastern Europe with detailed Lithuania, and the fifth covers the European part of Russia.

Denso XCL is intended for the X-Type (from 2002), S-Type (from 2003) and XJ (2004–2009). Here a single set covers almost all of Europe. For newer XJ (from 2009) and XF (from 2012) models, the HDD GEN2.1 USB version is suitable.

What to bring and how the update works

We update maps at our Vilnius and Kaunas service points. For Klaipėda and Šiauliai, please call first and check whether the service is available for your model. Bring any map discs or USB drives you have, and if the navigation asks for a PIN code, bring that too.

You come in or call. Visit the nearest service point or call to discuss your model. We update maps at our Vilnius and Kaunas service points, while for Klaipėda and Šiauliai please call first.
We determine the system type. The technician checks whether it is Denso 2.64, XCL or HDD GEN2.1, and which map version is installed. Initial diagnostics cost €10, and the fault is identified within 1–2 business days.
Price and timeframe are agreed. We tell you the price and timeframe, and start work only with your consent. There are no hidden fees.
We update the maps. We install the suitable map set with detailed Lithuania and check that it works.
You collect it with a warranty. You collect the car or discs. We provide a 12-month warranty on map updates.

How do I update my car’s navigation?

Older Jaguar systems require new map discs or USB drives that suit your system. The most convenient way is to come to the service point and let the technician determine the type.

Is a Garmin map update suitable for Jaguar?

No, Garmin is separate equipment. A Jaguar’s integrated system requires a map set intended for the Denso or HDD GEN2.1 system.

Can I use a phone map instead of an update?
