We update Renault navigation maps in Vilnius and Kaunas: we work with TomTom Carminat, Carminat Live, Carminat Informée, Informée 2, CNC (Carminat 3) and R-Link systems. On this page you will find which map version suits which system, how to recognise outdated maps and what to bring with you.

How much does an update cost? The price depends on the system and the map version, and we tell you in advance. If the fault needs to be found, the initial diagnostics costs 10 €.
Which Renault systems do you update? TomTom Carminat, Carminat Live, Carminat Informée and Informée 2, CNC (Carminat 3) and TomTom R-Link. We do not update Guidage Informe SH1 / SH3.
Is there a warranty? Yes, we provide a 12-month warranty for map updates.
How long does fault identification take? If the navigation is not only outdated but also not working, the fault is identified within 1–2 business days. We tell you the update turnaround time in advance.

What people often get wrong about Renault maps

Myth. Any Renault SD card will do. In fact. The card and maps are tied to the system type and sometimes to the specific car, so a card from another car may show nothing.
Myth. All Renault navigation systems are updated in the same way. In fact. CD systems, SD cards and R-Link work differently, so different map sets are required.
Myth. Updating the maps will also improve the GPS signal. In fact. Maps only change the data. If the GPS is inaccurate because of the antenna or the unit, the fault needs to be found.

Which Renault navigation maps suit your car

The system is identified by the car’s year and the map media. If you are unsure, call us and tell us the model and year.

TomTom Carminat (2009 – mid-2011): 2 GB SD card (Lithuania in detail, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Croatia) or 4 GB SD card with all of Europe.

Carminat Informée (until 2006): maps on CD sets; Avantime, Clio, Espace, Laguna, Megane / Megane Scenic, Safrane, Trafic, Vel Satis.

How to tell that your Renault maps are outdated

The first sign is the car driving across fields because a new bypass or roundabout is missing from the map. New streets, changed traffic directions or speed limits may also be missing.

In older systems, such as Carminat, the map set depends on the card size: a 2 GB SD card contains Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania (detailed), Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Latvia and Croatia, while a 4 GB card covers all of Europe.

Can I download Renault maps myself?

Official files are often tied to a specific system or card, and an unsuitable set may not work. It is safer to consult a technician so that the right version is selected.

Do you update Renault Clio navigation?

Clio models with Carminat Informée up to 2006 are on our list. For Clio models from other years, please call and provide the year and the system.

What should I do if the system is Guidage Informe SH1 / SH3?

We do not update maps for these systems. If you temporarily need navigation, read about the map in offline mode.

Why is an update better than a new navigation unit?
